Pastor Klemz - September 26, 2010

I served at Calvary from April 1969 until August of 1974.
Our two youngest children were born in Sioux City:  Geniece and Amy.  Ann began schooling in Sioux City, Kathy and Ted went through grade school and entered Jr. High. Ann, Geniece and Amy are married.  We have four grandchildren, Nathanael (12), Joshua (6), Ann's boys; Helena (6), James (3), Geniece's children.  We moved to Plainview, Mn.; and then in 1976 to Buffalo, Mn., where I served St. John's as head pastor until retirement in 1999.  Since that time we have remained active at St. John's and the community.  I have served as visitation pastor, confirmation mentor, and hold regular services at care centers in Buffalo.  I am volunteer chaplain for Guardian Angels' Hospice Care in Buffalo.  Helen and I volunteer at the local hospital.  By God's grace in Jesus we do all we can to maintain Ephesians 2:10 as a theme verse for life, (Jerusalem Bible translation):  "We are God's work of art, created in Christ Jesus to live the good life as from the beginning He had meant us to live it."
